If you have an important event on the horizon, the team at Apothika would love to be part of your big day!
Regardless of the type of event you’re preparing for, we recommend planning your injectable treatments well in advance to allow time for your treatment to settle and for any adjustments that may be needed.
If you’re new to injectables:
We recommend meeting with your chosen practitioner approximately 6 months before your event. This allows you and your practitioner to create a personalized treatment plan and gives you plenty of time to assess your results and make any necessary adjustments.
If you’ve had injectable treatments before:
If you’re happy with your existing treatment plan and previous results, we suggest booking approximately 6 weeks before your event.
Botox: Botox can take up to 2 full weeks to reach its full effect, and a touch-up may be required. Results typically last approximately 3 months.
Filler: Filler provides immediate results, but it can take approximately 2–4 weeks for swelling to fully resolve and for the treatment to settle. A touch-up may also be required.
Planning ahead ensures you have the time and flexibility to achieve your desired results and feel your absolute best for your special event.
At Apothika, we recognize that every client has a different budget when it comes to aesthetic treatments. We’re committed to respecting those boundaries and helping you find options that work for you.
If budget is what’s holding you back from pursuing medical aesthetics, we highly recommend starting with a complimentary consultation. During your consultation, we’ll discuss which treatments you may be a candidate for, provide transparent pricing, and help you navigate which options are both cost-effective and sustainable for you long term.
And the best part? There’s absolutely no obligation to treat.
We’re proud to offer fair, transparent pricing while staying within industry standards. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions that feel comfortable for both your goals and your budget.
So, book that consultation — we’d love to meet you! 🤍
If looking unnatural is one of your fears, we understand. Seeing overdone results on reality TV, social media, or even in everyday life can make aesthetic treatments feel intimidating.
At Apothika, our approach is intentionally slow and conservative. Safety is always our number one priority, followed closely by maintaining a natural appearance.
We believe in reaching your goals gradually, rather than trying to accomplish everything in one appointment. Every treatment plan is individualized, and we keep detailed treatment histories and progress photos to carefully monitor your results over time.
Our goal is simple: to enhance your natural beauty while ensuring you still look—and feel—like yourself.
A: In many cases, yes. If you’ve received a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler and are unhappy with the result, hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the filler. At Apothika Medspa, we believe the art of dissolving is just as important as the art of placing filler.
Q: Can Botox be reversed?
A: Unlike HA filler, there is currently no reversal medication for neuromodulators such as Botox. The effects gradually wear off on their own.
Q: How long does Botox last?
A: Neuromodulators typically reach their peak effect around 2 weeks after treatment and gradually return toward baseline over approximately 3 months, though this varies from person to person.
Q: Does that mean I’m stuck with my results?
A: Not at all. Our goal is always to create natural, balanced results through thoughtful treatment planning. We’ll discuss your goals, expectations, and options before treatment so you can feel confident in your decision.
Still have questions? We’re here to help.
The quick answer: No!
One of the most common questions we get at Apothika is whether starting injectables means you’ll have to keep getting them forever. The answer is not necessarily. Here’s what you can expect:
Botox
Botox typically lasts around 3 months, although everyone metabolizes and responds to treatment differently. As the effects gradually wear off, your appearance will return toward your baseline.
If your goal is long-term anti-aging prevention, staying consistent with treatments may help maintain your results over time. Your injector can help determine the treatment schedule that makes sense for your age, facial anatomy, and aesthetic goals.
Filler
Filler is a little different. Conservative, strategically placed filler does not necessarily require ongoing treatment. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can typically last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the product, placement, and individual factors.
Over time, your body gradually metabolizes the filler and the treated area generally returns toward its baseline.
The bottom line: Injectables are not an all-or-nothing commitment. At Apothika, we believe in intentional, conservative treatments tailored to you—not treating just for the sake of treating.
